Jose Mourinho wants three signings: Man Utd boss has transfer shortlist

Manchester United have impressed this season but Mourinho’s men haven’t been able to challenge Manchester City for the Premier League title.

Their cross-city rivals boast a 13 point advantage at the top of the league with nine games remaining.

And according to the Daily Mirror, Mourinho is already thinking ahead to the summer transfer window.

They claim the Special One wants a new centre-back, a left-back and a holding midfielder.

Tottenham star Toby Alderweireld and Borussia Dortmund defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos are Mourinho’s top defensive targets this summer.

However, United know Spurs will not let Alderweireld leave without a fight, meaning the Red Devils could turn their attention to the £20m-rated Papastathopoulos instead.

The Mirror add that Lazio ace Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is Mourinho’s No.1 midfield target this summer.

With Michael Carrick retiring at the end of the season and Marouane Fellaini likely to leave Old Trafford, United need reinforcements.
