JUST IN: Man United Agree £150million Deal With Serie A Giants for £28k-Per-Week Midfielder

According to Corriere dello Sport, Manchester United could agree a £150m deal with Serie A giants Lazio to procure the signature of midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. The 23-year-old signed a new deal at the Stadio Olimpico in April 2017 but could leave this summer for the right price.

Lazio president Claudio Lotito reportedly won’t let the talented midfielder leave the club for less than £150m as he’s desperate to retain Milinkovic-Savic or at least get a big pay-day for his sale. An exit looks inevitable with all the interest in his services – with The Sun also linking Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain – and Manchester United are one many sides hoping to take advantage.

The Serbian international joined Lazio from Belgian outfit KRC Genk in 2015 and has gone on to make well over 100 appearances in all competitions for I Biancocelesti. Milinkovic-Savic has scored and created 11 goals in 26 Serie A appearances this season, creating 37 chances and making 49 successful dribbles.

Manchester United’s midfield target averages a tackle or interception every 31 minutes in the league and could be on his way to Old Trafford as the Red Devils could be losing up four players from the engine room.

Michael Carrick is retiring this summer, Marouane Fellaini is out of contract in three months, Ander Herrera has been out-of-favour and linked with AC Milan while Paul Pogba is unhappy and linked with Real Madrid.
