Manchester United are reportedly set to make a move for Ivory Coast international midfielder Jean Michael Seri this month, according to The Sun.
The Premier League side, who currently sit second in the top-flight standings respectively, 12 points adrift of leaders and rivals Manchester City, have been linked with luring the OGC Nice star to Old Trafford before the close of the January transfer window next Wednesday.
The 26-year-old, who has 16 international caps for his country, has scored one goal and provided six assists in 26 appearances in all competitions for the Ligue 1 outfit so far this season.
Seri, who looked set to join FC Barcelona last summer before any potential deal collapsed, has netted 11 times in 106 games overall for Nice since arriving from Pacos de Ferreira back in June 2015 for just €1m.
Following the arrival of forward Alexis Sanchez from Premier League rivals Arsenal earlier this week, the report claims Reds Devils boss Jose Mourinho will turn his attention to signing the Ivorian before next Wednesday’s deadline, who is valued at £35m.
However, the central defensive midfielder is also said to be attracting interest from rivals City, Chelsea and Liverpool.
