Jose Eyes £634m Star and This Real Madrid’s £53m Forward (Read Full Report)

According to Don Balon, Manchester United are in talks with Real Madrid over the availability of Welsh forward Gareth Bale and Spanish midfielder Isco.

Bale joined Real from Tottenham in 2013, and has gone on to make over 160 appearances in all competitions. He’s had his problems with injuries ever since moving to the Santiago Bernabeu, and his future has been speculated about for some time too.

Manchester United are believed to be the preferred move for Bale, as the £53m forward is keen to play for Mourinho. Bale’s been a good servant despite his injury layouts, scoring 76 goals for the La Liga giants.

Isco is reportedly another player from Los Blancos piquing United’s interest. The 25-year-old, signed from Malaga the same year as Bale, has struggled for consistent playing time of late, and the report hints that he might seek an exit as a result. The Spaniard has a huge £634million buyout clause in his five years contract.

Manager Jose Mourinho has said he won’t be strengthening his attack in the summer, which could rule out Bale, but did say the midfield was an area that needed some work.

With Michael Carrick retiring and Marouane Fellaini out of contract at the end of the season, the Red Devils desperate need a commanding influence alongside Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic. Isco would be an ambitious target, but while he’s in and out of the Real side, he could consider his options.
